Strong growth, heavy investments and a clear sustainability commitment

2017 was Volvo Car’s fourth consecutive year of growth. And Volvo Cars is investing heavily in people, products and in reducing their global footprint. But also in future mobility; electrification, autonomous driving, connectivity and subscription services.

In 2017 MeyerBukdahl was appointed agency of record for Volvo Car Group. The assignment included strategic advising on selected areas and design and production of the annual and interim reports.

For the 2017 annual report MeyerBukdahl applied a more business-like and people-centric design. We aimed at creating a responsible, sustainable and authentic expression. However, without compromising on Volvos premium position. Strong iconography and comprehensible models/figures support the Strategy and Value creation sections. The cover is printed in Crystal White Pearl – the launch colour of the new XC40 – European Car of the Year 2018.
